China Glaze Wicked!

Hello! Today I'm excited to show you something I got in the mail on Monday. Last Friday I purchased 4 polishes from 8ty8 Beauty and got them in Monday's mail - Immortal, Cast A Spell and Make A Spectacle. Wait a minute, that's only 3? I know, I'm weak and I got 2 of Make A Spectacle because I LOVE iridescent glitter. I have no regrets!!

I thought about getting the other colors, but decided to wait until I see them in real life before deciding if I want to purchase them or not. Also, the lighting today varies since it was a bit cloudy and the clouds kept covering and uncovering the sunlight. So, there's a lot of pictures today, all take outdoors without flash.

These were such great choices, imo. The formula on Immortal and Cast A Spell was so smooth and applied so nicely! Cast A Spell was a 1 coater! I did two coats because my first coat was a bit sloppy near the cuticle, but there was no patchiness or streakiness at all! Make A Spectacle was really thick and at first applied with some difficulty and bubbles. So, I thinned it quite a bit, let it rest for a few hours and when I put it back on, nice and smooth and bubble free :D If I had a choice between the three, I'd have to take Cast A Spell and Make A Spectacle as my absolute favorites. Who knows if I'll like the rest when I see them in person.

I hope you're all enjoying this awesome Wednesday as it's almost over! Also, just some info in case you're interested in ordering from 8ty8, just click here to peruse their site. I am in no way affiliated with them and I don't get anything if you order from them. I have been a customer of theirs since 2006 and am satisfied with their prices, turn around time and customer service :)

Ulta also already has these out and they're running a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo on China Glaze. Plus they have a coupon for $3.50 off a $10 purchase that you can print out if you click here, essentially getting 3 China Glaze polishes for $10.50 before tax. If you plan on doing this, hurry because I believe the coupon and the B2G1F expire this coming Saturday!

Sally's is also supposed to be putting these out on or after October 1st, according to what my local Sally's employees told me. So, there's options out there if you want to pick up or see the collection in person and possibly save money :D Until next time!!!

Estée Lauder Smashed and Chaos Metal Mania polish swatches

Estée Lauder Smashed. Two coats.

Estée Lauder Chaos. Three coats.

Pahlish Sullen Girl over Chaos. One coat.

These are from Estée Lauder's new Metal Mania collection. I picked these up at Nordstrom and I do not believe they are limited edition. The formula was good on both of them.

Piggy Polish Garden Galaxy

Yesterday I stopped by my local Ulta hoping to find something good to use my 20% off coupon! The only thing I brought home was a Piggy Polish. Overall savings = $1.50! Still, I'm pretty happy with what I found. As I was perusing the limited edition displays, I saw a Piggy Polish display (Where The Stars Meet) with 3 glitter polishes (Where The Stars Meet, Garden Galaxy and Finger Fireworks). The one that I absolutely had to take home with me was this one.

In the bottle it appears to be a golden green bar glitter in a lime green jelly base. But tilt it to the side a bit and you can see the color change! This morning I put it on over 1 coat of AA Hassid. I did 2 coats of the Piggy and it is LOVE! It's bars and hexes of the same glitter. Depending on the angle and the lighting, this could look yellow, green, teal or a violet blue (blurple) color. It's simply stunning! So it's no surprise that I am going to post a photo overkill of it.

As if that wasn't enough to make you sick of the color already, here's a quick video of it in action :D

Another cool thing, is it's just as color changing indoors. I'm guessing since this wasn't in the regular display, that it's limited edition. So if you're into it, go look for it! This was the only bottle left at my local store and the sales associates didn't know if they'd be getting more stock, but they emphasized that they doubted they would get more. Piggy Polishes retail for $7.50 at Ulta.
