China Glaze swatches
China Glaze 5 Golden Rings. Five coats. While I liked how this looked, I would probably layer this the next time I wore it.
China Glaze In Awe of Amber. Four coats. The formula was a bit runny and thin.
China Glaze Mummy May I. Three coats.
China Glaze Sugar Plums. Two coats. I think my bottle evaporated a little so the formula was a little thick, but nothing a little thinner didn't fix.
American Apparel Supernova over Sugar Plums. One coat. The glitter looks a bit curly in the bottle but is fine on the nail.

Avon Sequins swatches part 2
The rest of the Avon sequins category swatches. If you missed part one, swatches can be found here. I said before that Avon released 45 new shades, but some of there were actually repromotes.
Avon Absinthe. Two coats. I love this color!
Revlon Apple-tini Fizz over Absinthe. One coat.
Avon Golden Wine. Three coats.
Kleancolor Red Hot over Golden Wine. One coat. It kind of looks like it is on fire in these pictures, but the orange is not there in person.
Avon Ruby Slipper. Three coats.
Kleancolor Chunky Holo Scarlet over Ruby Slipper. One coat. The chunky holos usually have color shifting glitter, but the red base covers it up. It effectively makes it a red glitter in a red jelly base. If you are looking for a similar base color where you can still see the green glitter color shift, you may want to try out Chunky Holo Poppy.
Avon Night Violet. Three coats.
Sephora by OPI It's Real 18k Gold over Night Violet. One coat. I forgot to put topcoat on, so if it looks a bit weird, that is the reason.
Avon Stunning Cobalt. Three coats.
Avon Absinthe. Two coats. I love this color!

I'm back!! And with some Zoya swatches.
Zoya Bijou. I'm not much of a pink person, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this glass flecked pink.
Hopefully no one forgot about me! I know Ang has been holding down the fort in my absence. :)
Zoya Anastasia. Burgundy with gold shimmer.
I have a lot more Zoya swatches that I'll hopefully be posting within the next week. There is a 5 photo limit on blogger.com uploads, so I think I'll stick with that pace instead of posting everything at once.
I've been reading a lot lately, and if you knew me a few years ago and told me I would enjoy reading as much as I do now; I would have laughed at you. I recently finished up The Hunger Games trilogy. Mockingjay, the final installment came out last Tuesday. I hate to say I was a little bit disappointed in the ending but it was a good story nonetheless. Have any of you read the series? Thoughts? Also, if you have any recommendations, I would really love it! I'm always looking for something good to read.
I also played Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV beta for a bit too. It surpassed my expectations and the graphics are amazing, especially compared to FFXI. Comes out at end of this month. Any of my nail lacquer fanatics play video games as well?

That Galaxy Girl's name is Ingrid?
Hey everyone :) Well, sorry for the cheesy title. Had to get your attention somehow, right? But the title basically says it all! I have 2 NOTDs for you today. Orly's Galaxy Girl and China Glaze's Ingrid. First up will be the Orly. Galaxy Girl is really pretty! It's not as color changing fabulous as Space Cadet was. but this one has pretty multi-colored shimmers that catch the light at different angles. I see teal and purple! :)

Next up is Ingrid. I actually really like this one! All the descriptions and swatches I've seen of it online are basically the same, taupe with shimmer. In the bottle I totally thought it was a taupe with golden shimmer. Which, is pretty if you look at it, right? But once on my nail, I got a bit confused! It's weird cause I think it pulls green on me under certain lights. But maybe I'm just losing it? I don't know. But here it is in all it's beauty.

Looks kind of olivey, doesn't it? Well, that's it from me for today! Thanks for reading, I hope these pictures helped some of you who are still on the fence about these colors :)
Have a great day!!!
These are in sunlight
These are indoors without flash

Royal Rajah Ruby is LOVE!
I remember when this first was available on the 8ty8 website and I thought to myself, hmmm, that looks pretty! But then when I saw a bunch of NOTDs with it on, I thought, it looks black so I'll pass. And it didn't tempt me until the other day at Ulta when I saw it in real life. I have to say, I was wanting it really bad. I couldn't bear the thought of going home without it, so I got 2. I decided to put this on lastnight and really, I couldn't be happier! This is 2 coats with Seche Vite on top. It's not all that great indoors or out in the shade, but when you see this in the sun, WOW! I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Overall the application on this was great! This is 2 coats in the pictures and it was completely opaque. RRR, I'm sorry I resisted you for so long!
Thanks for looking.
Here it is by my window light.
Here it is outdoors in the shade.
Thanks for looking.
