Chanel Particuliere

So I thought I updated this a few days ago, but it must've been a dream because I can clearly see that I have not posted in about 6 days :( Sorry about that. So I come bearing Chanel! I actually thought I would hate this the first time I saw it in December. Which is why I passed on it.

I thought I was over it since it's brown and well, brown and I don't really get along. But for some reason when my favorite SA at the Chanel counter called me to let me know they only had one left, I asked her to hold it for me in a panic. Why was I panicking? I passed on this color! I should just call her back and tell her to sell it. I should. But I didn't. I bought it.

In a need to justify my purchase, I thought to myself, what if I love it? I don't want to be one of those late people getting it on ebay for way over retail. Might as well buy it now and get rid of it later if I don't like it, right? The weird thing is though, I kind of like it. I don't love it. But I think it looks more grey than brown on me. And I like grey! So I guess I'm keeping it. Not to mention, the application was very smooth and opaque. I usually do 3 coats of my Chanels, but this was a thin 2 coater for that opaque goodness I love.

This first picture is in direct sunlight, the second one down is indirect sunlight and the 3rd one down is in my kitchen light without flash.
