Water marbling anyone??

I gave this up a couple of years ago because I thought it was just too much work to not get similar results. Of course lately some people have been posting beautiful water marble manicures. So I figured I'd give it another shot. Not exactly as pretty or neat as it looked in my head. But still, I figured it was a good enough go. I may even try some more water marbling later on. But for now, I've had my fill. I used China Glaze Ingrid, Lighthouse, Sunset Sail and OPI Ski Teal We Drop, Austin-Tatious Turquoise and Illamasqua Load.

You can see where the water drops dried :( I guess next time I'll have to make sure I don't let them dry on the nail! But I think the combination of shimmer and non shimmer polishes is why I just can't bring myself to take this off yet. I'm sort of mesmerized by the mixture of colors. Hypno-nails! :p

Alrighty, well that's it from me for today. Monday begins school for my kids, so depending on how crazy the week is, I might not see you guys until the week after. But I'll try my best to post atleast once next week. I hope you're all doing well. Have a wonderful weekend! And if you're in Texas, don't forget the tax free weekend is right now!

  3. The design on your middle finger reminds me a photo of universe, I love it! I have to dry water marbling, but I am afraid I will do a disaster. :D
